COVID Protocols Memo for 2021-2022 Season
Please Note: This memo must be read in its entirety and e-signed below for your dancer(s) to return to the studio.
As a new season begins, safety is always our top priority! I can not thank my royal families enough for their cooperation last season! The constant communication of quarantines and school related covid cases led us to have a safe and successful season. We have reviewed the current guidance from NYS and the CDC and have updated our covid protocols. Please note, businesses are encouraged to implement protocols as they see fit to ensure safety. This memo must be read in its entirety and signed for your dancer(s) to return to the studio.
Drop-off and Pick-up:

Dancers will arrive no earlier than the time their class is scheduled.

Our lobby will be closed until further notice to mitigate the amount of germs introduced into our facility. Classes can be viewed via Zoom using the Zoom class codes tab on our website.

Dancers will be dropped off as an instructor will meet you by the door. If you need to make a payment, please wait until the class has entered the dance room before entering the lobby.

Pick-up will be outside only, 5-8 minutes before the class ends.

**These protocols allow for less traffic and time for sanitizing between classes**
Dancers:

Dancers will sanitize their hands before entering the dance room and at the end of every class.

Dancers will have assigned spots in the dance room while maintaining social distance as often as possible.

Dancers must follow the dress code on our website. No street clothes or street shoes will be permitted.

Dancers should bring their own water bottle to keep hydrated and labeled with their name. Any bottles left at the studio will be thrown away for sanitary reasons.

Dancers are not required to wear masks to enter or exit the facility or during classes however, this will be the parents’ discretion.

If you are feeling ill, do not come to class. You may still join us by logging onto Zoom!

If a dancer is exposed in the studio they are required to quarantine only if they were closer than 6 feet for longer than 10 minutes.

Dancers must quarantine for 10 days if they come into close contact with someone who has covid.

Vaccinated dancers can test 3-5 days after exposure to test out of quarantine otherwise the 10-day quarantine rule applies.

If a dancer is exposed at school or anywhere else outside of the studio, the case must be reported to us, and all quarantine rules apply.
Please note, Royal Dance Center will continue to be routinely sanitized and sprayed, has hospital grade air purifiers in every room, and performs contact tracing for school related covid cases. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and look forward to another safe season!
