Miss Rosa
Royal Dance Center is proud to present our fabulous studio director, Rosa D'Aleo! Miss Rosa began her magical journey dancing in New York City, and has been performing for over 30 years! She’s been instructing dance for over 20 years. Miss Rosa performed at the Westbury Music Center and participated in multiple holiday parades. Throughout her life, Rosa has competed in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Ballet, and Acro. Miss Rosa truly loves every style of dance and this has been, and always will be her true passion in life! She is also a certified Elementary and Secondary teacher, as well as a child psychologist. She was featured on The Donna Drake Show, "Live It Up" twice where she was recognized for being a successful woman entrepreneur, specifically during the pandemic. Miss Rosa looks forward to an enchanting future as the proud owner of Royal Dance Center. The words she lives by are, "If you can dream it, you can do it!"

Miss Michelle
Introducing Miss Michelle, Royal Dance Center's Office Manager! Miss Michelle started dancing at the age of two, and later developed a passion in high school when she joined the competition dance team in her senior year. After high school, Michelle made a tough decision to give up dance and pursue her dream of working in the fashion industry. She graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology in 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, specializing in Handbag + Footwear Design. Since then, Michelle has designed handbags for Steve Madden, Henri Bendel and Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet. In 2018, she opened her own Graphic Design Studio, where she designs logos and websites for local small businesses. Michelle is excited to have dance back in her life again by joining the Royal Dance Center team as their Studio Office Manager and in-house Graphic Designer!

Miss Liz
Liz Ditroia is an innovative dance and fitness professional who is constantly being inspired by new and exciting opportunities. She began her training at L.A. Dance Studio where she was accepted as a dance company member. She continued her training at Studio D Dance Centre where she was a principal dancer in the senior company. She has participated in numerous regional and national competitions throughout the NY and NJ area. She has performed at the Lupe Fiasco Toyota Park show in Chicago, as well as the NY Dragons Arena Football half time show. Her television credits include Nickelodeon’s “A Walk in Their Shoes.” Most recently she can be seen in Enerskin’s newest info commercial. She has received top recognition for her creativity and uniqueness that she brings to her routines. Competitions have awarded her routines “The Most Entertaining” and “Excellence in Performance.” Liz’s love for dance and fitness makes her energy infectious! Liz is also a certified Zumba instructor and part time soccer player.

Miss Kayla
Miss Kayla has been dancing since she was 2, and has danced under the direction of Miss Rosa since her early dancing days. She has been dancing at RDC since we opened, and was the youngest dancer in RDC’s Senior Lyrical Class at the age of 8. She was a Student Teacher for 5 years before becoming one of our newest Teachers. She has also been a competition dancer since the age of 9. She has taken countless master classes with famous instructors, such as Broadway and TV star Rachelle Rak, Radio City Rockette Bailey Callahan, Choreographer Brandon Von Ohlen, who has worked with artist such as Meghan Trainor and Silento, and many more! Miss Kayla has also attended many dance conventions such as Beyond the Stars, Starbound and Tremaine, where she took classes with Paula Abdul, Derek Hough, and Tiffany Maher! Teaching dance has always and will always be a passion for Miss Kayla. She will continue to spread her love for dance throughout the many children she will go on to teach.

Miss Catherine
Miss Catherine has been dancing since the age of 3 under the direction of Miss Rosa. She has been with RDC since we opened and a Student Teacher for the past 5 years. She has been on the RDC Competition Team since our first season. Miss Catherine has taught children of all ages, including a senior class. She is our youngest teacher, yet very experienced. Miss Catherine has been awarded at competitions, conventions, and previous recitals for her commitment, dedication and excellent performance quality. She has taken master classes with famous choreographers, such as Joshua Allen, “So You Think You Can Dance”, Derek Hough, Paula Abdul, and Delaney Glazer (who has toured with Justin Bieber and Chris Brown). Miss Catherine is a very passionate and dedicated dancer. She is a role model to everyone at our studio and will continue to be as one of our instructors!

Miss Ally
Miss Ally has been dancing since the age of three and has been dancing under the direction of Miss Rosa for the last 10 years. She has been with RDC for the past 6 years and recently joined Royal Dance Center’s Competition Team in 2020. Miss Ally’s preferred styles of dance are Lyrical, Contemporary and Jazz. She enjoys teaching children of all ages. Miss Ally danced for her high school, St. John the Baptist’s Dance Team from 2017-2020. She was also a choreographer for 3 years for students in grades 9-10 in the Contemporary and Jazz style. She has 2 years experience student teaching children from ages 18 months-10 years old. Miss Ally has also played basketball for 5 years on a travel team and twirled for 2 years. Miss Ally is a very dedicated and loving person and has been an amazing role model to all of the dancers at RDC! She looks forward to sharing her passion for dance!

Miss Melissa
Royal Dance Center is excited to introduce you to Miss Melissa! Miss Melissa was a gymnast herself for 11 years, and began teaching 7 years ago. She’s been coaching competitive gymnastics for 6 years and is honored to share many of her gymnasts have become state and national champions! She’s actively involved in the gymnastics community here on Long Island and is excited to bring her knowledge and skillset to the Royal Dance Center family as our newest Acro Instructor! When she’s not training, Miss Melissa can be found pursuing her career in real estate or going to the beach! Please help us give a warm welcome as we are excited to have her!

Miss Natalie
Natalie knox has been dancing since she was 2 years old. She graduated with a Minor in dance from SUNY Geneseo with high honors and danced with numerous top-name choreographers. Natalie was taught by numerous adjunct professors, including a current director of Garth Fagan Dance, at Geneseo. Her 14-year competition career had her winning many top accolades full of scholarships and placements. She has worked with names such as Destini Rodgers, Billy Larson, Dee Caspery, and Danny Tidwell. Natalie continues to attend dance workshops and takes classes in New York City at every opportunity. Royal Dance Center is excited to welcome Miss Natalie to the Royal Dance Center staff teaching our Senior Level dancers and Competition Team!

Mr. Rashaan
Introducing our final new choreographer for this season, the charisma king, Mr. Rashaan! Mr. Rashaan started his dance journey self taught. Learning from popular dance videos and trends on YouTube. With an unique style, comes an unconventional method of learning. In college, Mr. Rashaan studied Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern styles during this time. After receiving his Bachelors in Communications with a concentration on social media, he was signed to State Management modeling agency under the Lifestyle Devision. While professionally modeling, Mr.Rashaan took classes at various studios ranging from Broadway Dance Center to Perry Dance all while teaching hip hop classes which led to becoming a competitive choreographer. Mr.Rashaan, has mastered teaching dancers how to muster up the strength to find their own individual dance inspiration in a world filled with consistent influence and competition!
